    Drove a new Toyota today

Had the chance to take a brand new base model LC70 Workmate for a drive today. Very smooth V8 but as I was driving around site couldn't do more than 30kph, so hardly a proper test.

Suspension was very harsh on dirt roads over my new Defender. Small diameter steering wheel, would have been good if it wasn't anorexic in thickness though.

How does Toyota get away with a lap belt in the centre rear seat

As for the build quality and finish... How can anyone complain about the build quality and finish of a new Defender The Workmate (especially given they are more expensive than a Defender) was absolutely shocking. My Defender leaves it for dead, even a new base model Hilux has a better quality interior.

Tojo's are all we have at work. So I just have to remember, "Indicators on the right"

You wouldn't bring a Defender on site as any exposed alloy will start to disolve in some areas of the refinery. That would be a rather ugly site to come back to

See there is a use for Toyota's! Why ruin a good vehicle
