Thread: How long - Noosa to Rainbow on the beach?

Gday, if i remember the last time we did the trip it took about 50mins via fresh water track, i never go around the rocks at rainbow

Unless it's changed dramatically in the past couple of months, you may not be able to get around to Rainbow even on a low tide. There was a lot of erosion and not much beach on my last trip. A couple of lesser vehicles drove through about 3 feet of seawater to get around, but I decided to turn back at that point.

Nasty. I don't do salt water... ever.

I see on the conditions report that it may be impassable. Luckily we've got a couple of months yet (Nov22) so we'll monitor it.

How long does the Freshwater track take?

From memory and please somebody correct me if iam out but 20 to 25mins for fresh water, oh and watchout on corners for idiots rocketing along and comming towards you.
