    Watched a doco on Port Hedland a few weeks ago.Seemed most of the bussiness owners were suffering.MILLIONS of dollars of wages pass thru the town but as the majority are fly in fly out no money is spent locally.The show was quite an eyeopener,really highlited the negative points of having a booming mining industry.

    I know the show you saw, showed more of one side than the other.

    There is a massive mix of people here, from those who dont give a dam (not that many) to those who wouldnt live any where else. A lot of real caracters too, makes me look boring

    But all in all I love it here, is more about making the most of what you are given instead of complaining about what you dont have.
