Oh no. :(
Email sent...
couldn't just get one of those novelty plate businesses that are always at car shows etc. to make them up??? That's what i was planning on doing. haven't spoken to one yet to confirm they can customise size... what is the correct size plate btw :p
G'day All, They are the same physical size as the std issue to all cars trucks etc, as Phoenix stated the usual supplier WILL NOT DO them anymore for reasons that I will not divulge on the net, I have just had a set made from another company in Qld, they look the part but they didn't center the numbers to the bottom of the plate like I asked and i needed them so I kept my mouth shut, but if you wanted a set you may be able to go there in person and describe what you want better than I did, they were comparable on price, but did take longer than the previous supplier did to make them, also they wouldn't do the diamond feature in the middle, if I get a minute later this morning I will snap a pic and give Pheeny the details etc cheers Dennis:angel:
PS Pix taken and emailed to Richard, hopefully if he gets a minute or 2 he might post em here for all to see,,,
Ok, the info ;)
Now the AMF is somethin gthat has been added afterwards. The one from the original supplier is virtually identical to the original ones, the 2nd one, not so much so.

They look alright, but it is a shame that they didn't offset them as asked.
I might order some when I have money again!
Great news - I am most likely picking him up tonight! :D (provided we can get him started - flat battery...)

Shonky's actually makes 24 ambulances owned by REMLR members (if we include the army museum bandiana who are a member)
Not a bad percentage really!
I was sick today... *cough*... so I couldn't go to work unfortunately. The magic pixies came and cleaned Ambrose for me while I was, umm.... "recovering". I had nothing to do with it I swear!
Can't give you one of my usual windy intricate novels - I am supposed to be going to Singleton this afternoon. I have decided that I am going to take Ambrose for the trip! :D
Need to pack and get ready. ;) Leonie - I see what you mean about the looks you get in it. I took it around the block this afternoon and you would think I was driving an icecream truck!
Anyway - gotta fly. I might drop in on Dinty on the way back on Sunday so we might have some pics of Ambrose along side Dianne-May! :D
Here's a teaser of Ambrose safe at home:
