    NZ import.

    Has anyone on here ever imported a vehicle from NZ? Just wondering how much I would be looking at and how much hassle it would be. Lots of series Landys on trademe.co.nz, plus ex NZ Army V8 landys come up regulalry.

    i am an import from the land of the long white cloud.

    i was going to buy back a series 2a ex army 109 that me and the old man started restoring, from a family friend over there. i was going to look at getting shipped over. needed a whole 20' container as it wasn't/isn't running plus all the spares.

    door to door as in truck trailer to farm load landy+spares into container take to docks load on ship and the reverse on this end i was looking around 5k

    if its a drive in drive off its substantially cheaper (can't remember what they said now) but your still going to have to get it inspected by vicroads or whoever on this end me thinks.

    however i found me SIII a few weeks ago so am probably not going to pursue it.

    I thought the only vehicle you'd import from NZ would be a Mk II Zephyr

    Zephyrs have long since rusted away. Just about the rustiest cars I evcer came across.
