    Any clock repairers?

I've repaired a hundred year old Gilbert 8-day movement and it's running quite nicely, but I'd like to correctly adjust the rate. How do I go about generating a 60Hz pulse to use as a reference?

It's come down through the family and if we can get it to hold reasonable accuracy my grandmother wants to have it overhauled.

Are there any repairers on the forum who can tell me how to properly adjust the rating?

Ask a piano player for a loan of their metronome, these days they are xtal controlled so they are very accurate, set it for 60 beats and compare the ticks.
