    Disco gone to a new WAulroian Home

    The Disco got sold today as to make room for L322

    A new member "Distortion", Rob bought our 1998 TDi Disco,
    Rob seems fairly new to the Landrover world and 4wding, been doing his research prior to deciding on a Tdi.
    Congratulations Rob and welcome to the Landrover fraternity.

    Next month I wish to take an excursion down to Harvey for novice 4wders

    No more than 10 vehicles and we can walk through some obstacles, discuss the pros and cons of different lines through them,gear selections and speeds,tyre choices and pressures, stage some self recoveries as well as two vehicle recoveries

    I'm not going to go into the disclaimer BS, just good ol aussie mateship and a chance to help others enjoy their Landrover and the aussie bush.

    List you interest on this thread and we can knock out a weekend date for next month.

    Pretty happy about it all
    Certainly looking forward to getting out there and putting it to use and I'd be up for a trip for a beginner to learn some stuff on.


    Going to take me a few weeks to get used to driving a manual again after 3 years tho

    Pretty sure Jim with the light blue rangie who came with us last weekend will be as keen as mustard.He is yet to join AULRO as he hasnt got a phone line at the moment.It was his first mud outing,it blew him away how good an old Rangie can go,he is from Albany so only really done beach off-roading.
    Will see him and let you know if he is a starter.

    If you have room, that sounds like a plan. Will have to see which weekend is free for us as we have some caving trips scheduled.

    We took out the Puma today between Yanchep and Moore River and it didn't miss a beat. Also got to try out the new compressor. Much better than the last one which melted after inflating two tyres......
