Yep..... 25 hour days in Albury, but apparently each month has one less day.

Yes I think the top letter was possibly a bit tongue in cheek. Nobody from Albury would have said that in all seriousness.

Now come on - up here in Queeeensland we know it's all a southern plot. Our curtains will fade - cows won't milk - that poor bloke should return north where we do things proper.

Considering that we're supposed to be having a referendum on daylight saving in the west next year, I think I'll have to pass this one along to a couple of the local papers over here to give people something else to throw into the argument.

I'm sure that A Current Affair and Today Tonight could manage some sort of a beat-up on this.

what i dont understand is why only 1 hour per day???If say we made daylight saving of 12-13 hours a day we would effectively have no night time, imagine the huge energy savings in every household not having to run lightbulbs as well as the increased productivity of crops exposed to 24 hours a day sunlight, not to mention the obvious reduction in greenhouse emissions, it just seeems such a waste for only one hour!

Who know's if it is a joke or not........look at Sarah Palin and some of the stuff that has come out of her mouth of late.............and she's running for VP .
