Like nothing else on this earth Reckon I could get a Bugatti Veyron off the lights

When I got the other one off the trailer and was just towing the trailer it was comparable to my old one, after you had played with it But with out the trailer its just awesome

Fuel bill on the other hand. Lets just say its lucky the price of diesel is going down

Ahh the snorkel well I had a quick search through the forum and it doesnt sound like a short job. So I have to get a day off work, or maybe this weekend Was just thinking will that seal that is on the snorkel seal well enough? Or should I help it along with something?

    Thanks JC

    Hey,

Glad it's going well. Fuel bill can be reduced, you can adjust it back a little if you like. Give me a call and I'll talk you through it. (I can't post up in general chat the secrets of Tdi performance tuning...)

Snorkel job is about an hours work, even for someone who hasn't done it before. That seal is fine, you'll find removing it and making a template from the other car is going to take almost as long as the fitting to the other one. It's quite easy. Maybe check the safari website and see if some instructions can be downloaded? Or just take careful note how the other one comes off is probably just as good

And above all, don't be a sooky la la with the step drill, aluminium panels have no feelings

Jock you have had the luck of the pox doctor. My sympathies mate. It has to get better from now on. I have a Disco 200Tdi and I know I'd be absolutely devastated if I lost her. Having spent an arm and a leg getting her just right you must be gutted !

My sympathies, there is only one way to go from here mate, onwards and upwards !

You have a great buy on the white deefer. Enjoy. I have a soft spot for Jocks, I married one 33 years ago and lived in Jockland for a few years. She is still trying to live it down marrying a sassenach !

It has to get better from now on mate, good luck. Remember the glass is always half full.

    All the best

    Regards

    Martin

Well I had a pleasant surprise today Filled up and got bout 11L to the 100km. That is also towing the 3 tonnes from Campbell Town. So Im pretty happy with that

Dont think I could go backwards with the tuning Need more more more more Just kidding how it is, is bloody brilliant

Ill tackle the snorkel on Sunday if I can bring myself to punch great big holes in my pristine panels Have to come down on Saturday to see the Grand parents

    Thanks mate

If you want it to fly, smash the collar off the back and wind it 720 degrees. It'll pull 5th from 50kmh, nail it and you'll hit either 90kmh or 800 on your pyro in three seconds flat

    Ahh you couldn't kill a 200Tdi with a stick
