Anybody got a fridge mate camping fridge?
As the title says just wondering if anybody has one or used a fridgemate.
Do they work well keeping things cold and frozen?Would you buy/use one again?
I have a mate thats about to but a 70 litre for a good price and Ive seen then on ebay with 24 volt adaptor and in car monitor for resonable price.
Are they worth it or should I spend a few more dollars and buy a waeco, engel, ect.

I have the 55l jobby. I bought it to add to my 28l engel. I use the engel as a freezer and the evakool as a total fridge.
I was going to buy a 40 engel as I have had the 28l for 30 years. I was convinced to go for the evakool because of the advice I received from a colleague who heads the refrigeration section at RMIT where I work. I recently used it for a week and was impressed and glad I went for it. Half the current comsumption of the engel and the 12v supply doubles as a battery recharger. Danfoss compressor. Also get a fridge digital thermometer from Jaycar for $15.
Recommend it highly.
