The problem with a 110 for anyone with a growing family (by which I assume that a new one is on the way) is providing child safety seat restraints - from what I've read elsewhere on this forum).

Sorry for the slow reply.. IT'S GONE.... He came up with the money quicker than he expected.

Size is an issue for 2 reasons, cargo space and another baby on the way (We have twins who are 6 and a daughter who is 3)

Deefer does sound good...... but child restraints and seating is still an issue.. and getting one at the right price.

Sorry but voth Patrol and Cruiser offer lots more room when the rear seat is not in use than the Disco... although did see an auto 300Tdi for sale..... LOL

    Thanks for the suggestions!

D3: extra seats (real seats) extra cargo area (and seats don't eat into it) and the wife will love it!

Yep D3 is the answer !

Where you get the $ is another Q entirely.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

110 with the seat in the middle at the front instead of cubby box.

Lap sash seat belt only, but I reckon a booster seat with an integral harness will do the trick.

Or a new model 110 with seven seats.

Not like I've thought it about it much.

Twins and two month old, but Rilka's already planning on one more.

Have your folks got of the Okka yet?

Now that would make a good family car

    Dont worry about it Cookiesa,

To make a decent LR Ive been told it needs :

    350 Chev or Isuzu engine
    Nissan or Turbo box
Modified LR transfer case or a Nissan transfer case aswell
    Nissan or Toyota Diffs

There's nothing wrong with buying a japper as long as you dont want your vehicle to have any personality or attitude

Just dont buy a Pootrol with a ZD30 in it

There is no context or part of any sentence, where comments like these can be deemed to be acceptable in a modern aulroistic society.
