    if only it was made in Australia!!!

    Thought I would let you know- I went to buy ho har Bisley workshorts today and because of the Aus $ I was told ALL workwear was going up by 12.5%on Dec 1st...........could only get 2 pairs ....so if you need any workwear do it soon...

    Soon the only thing that will continue to be made in Australia will be people.
    That worries me, because some of the "manufacturers" are of very poor quality and are producing some very ordinary goods!

    Personally I only buy workwear at the hard yakka factory outlet store... made in Oz, cheap(ish) direct from the factory and at least some of the $$ stay in oz...


    I guess the problem really is the falling aussie $$ and everything is traded/bought in US$ (like fabric and thread for the workwear if it's even made in Oz at all). Once the current stocks are gone you will see big price rises on everything that is imported. say hello to the pacific peso
