There are quite a few Defenders in it. Unfortunately one gets blown to bits and one falls of the side of a mountain and crashes into a building.

Lots of Range Rovers too.

I will have to see it again on DVD as I am still not sure what it was all about!

Went to see it last night and there is indeed rather a lot of Defender destruction going on... Both a 90 and a 110 bite the dust and various Range Rovers, Jaguar, Volvo, Aston Martin and other assorted Ford PAG (as was) vehicles scattered around throughout the film for good measure.

Editing and direction was dreadful with constant jumping around in the action sequences making it hard to keep track of what was going on, but hey, was still very enjoyable.

Actually there were 12 Aston Martins, they destroyed 5 million$ worth of dream cars, Regards Frank.

I think watching it back to back with the previous film would be better than watching it in isolation - for those not having seen it already, go rent Casino Royale and watch that FIRST. It makes much more sense...

believe it or not my wife and I have a tradition of watching every preceeding bond at a rate of one a night for a few weeks leading up to the new release - did this on VHS a few times, now on DVD

Saw it this morning. I thought it was one of the best Bond films yet! Limited absolute bull**** (which they often suffer from), but heaps of action and decent story. I was a fan.

I'm really looking forward to it. I loved Casino Royale.

but I have no credibility as I prefer Roger Moore over Sean Connery as Bond.

If the rumuors are true and they have removed a few of the iconic Bond themes like "Bond, James Bond" or the sleeping about then I will be a bit peeved.
