    4WD Action - D3 wins

    hi all,
    for those that don't get the mag the new one has a touring competition to find the best allround vehicle.
    defender, d3, lc200, lc79 & pootrol.
    seems the toymota just isn't suited for touring due to the much discussed gvm issues so the d3 takes out the honors.

    fender

    not great from a touring point of view especially up against the d3 for comfort stakes.
    scored well on the rocks though (it was five terrains challenge)

    It is unusual that the payload of the LC 200 is just 665kg. Even my Freelander can take 550kg.
