Friday night and a Tullamore Dew

Kicking back and sipping a Tullamore Dew and the mind turns to wondering what does everyone else do when the week has finished?

The Cranky One and I both had a damned hard week and The Child Bride certainly jumped at my suggestion to head down to the Elbow for a drink and meal. Home now and enjoying a quite Irish and reflecting on the evening.

Tough week. Not much time for each other during the week so the decision to go out and buy dinner at the pub (no damned dishes).

But what do you blokes and girls do? When your week is finished (because I know full-well some of your weeks don't finish on Friday etc etc) - do you hit the Irish and annoy the hell out of everyone else, go to sleep, build a model aeroplane or just post the benefits of diesel so as to annoy Pedro the Swift.

I've got to say I'm not one for TV - and damn, I have no good books on the go - so I'm annoying you lot.

However.... the Cranky One has just informed me The Magnificent Seven is on Austar to be followed by El Dorado (John Wayne and Robert Mitchum!!!) so a couple more Dews and a Classic Western will make for a good end to the week.

Well I play on the puter, watch TV and work the after hours help desk. My non work time is from 7:30am till I get to work around 10:00. Long enough to have a shower and drive to work.
Night like this one is going to be like will see me take a few calls from those who don't read the system messages and what I tell them.

I am with you Barra1 but my particular tickle is of russian heritage. Unfortunatly I am regulated to only the stuff made in France. The kids watch the TV and the wife and I have a few ice cold vodka's.

Each day of my life is a holiday, I go out into the sun, lie in fields of green, drive my Land Rover, waste money some days, make it back others, drink too much, eat too little, no plan, no commitment, no direction, live by the doctrine of hedonism.

One day I'll arrive in the real world and it'll all be over
