    Dust

Well, after the wettest few days for years (81mm), and a return to winter -

About five O'clock it started to get hazy - and now the visibility is down to less than 500m. After two days of strong SW winds, we have a dust storm worthy of Central Australia. I am afraid this is an indicator as to what the season is like in southern and SW NSW. I have no idea how long it will last, probably several days.

Weather actually started to warm up here today.
Light rain to make the tyre swap a little more interesting.

Certainly is. The first thing I did this morning was to bring the seedlings in and dig them out of the ice. They look like they'll be ok

Here is a pic of yesterday up at Lithgow also.

I came back early to Melb from a camping weekend up near Walhalla- washed out - you can only put up with so much rain. It poured Fri night & I reckon it rained 80% of the time we were there- around 100mm so by mid morn today it was home time. The Thompson river came up by about a metre- and thats not too far from the Dam.
