    1. A couple of years ago the Qld government published a list of the occupations of people who have fallen for the Nigerian scam - most were professionals, including several accountants and even a few financial advisors!

    2. On Monday I received a Nigerian type letter in the mail. Only this one came from Spain. I contacted Scamwatch in Canberra (got the phone number from the local police), and they were very interested in getting the envelope, which I mailed to them.

    3. They will probably have got your name and address from some published listing - certainly mine is not secret.
