Armrests on D2's
Excuse my ignorance here but I'm curious to know if the front seat armrests were an option or came standard on higher spec models. The reason I ask is that looking through cars for sale, in the ES/SE spec, some have them, some don't. Thanks in advance.

Hi William,
The armrests are standard on ES spec models from 99-02my, then the D2a was released & the naming changed.
It was then standard on the SE & HSE models from 03-04my.
It will be on all the leather seats that ARE electrically adjusted.
The last of the 04my's were leather covered but not electric hence they dont have the arm rests.
They also can't be retro fitted either, without major work to the frame.
This may then require an engineer's certificate.
Cheers
