    Glad to hear

Glad to hear that your dad has come through the op. If he's anything like mine, it'll give him a new lease on life. My dad had the quad bypass about 5 years ago, he was 68 then. From being a virtual hermit, he began dancing lesson, going out socially, travelling and on his third Euro tour, met his new wife. They married in March and............Hell, I could go on. What inheritence is left you ask?? Thankfully just about none

    Good to hear

My dad had the same op about 10 years. Had his 75th birthday in April has not looked back and has a real spring in his step. Our thoughts and prays are with you, for your dads speedy recovery.

    Regards

Mate, glad to hear he's out and I can say from personal experience that they an do a lot these days with minimal recovery time.

He should be up and about in a day or 2 and he will feel a million bucks and everyone will be telling him to slow down.

Ive had a couple of tune ups, no bypass as yet but I know a couple of people who've had bypass ops and they are both in very good health now and glad they were able to get it done.

Best wishes but im sure he will be fine.

Your old man should consider himself to be an extra lucky bugger who got a second chance. A few weeks ago my builder aged 44 got called leaving behind 2 kids, one just finished the HSC, the other doing Yr10 exams and his wife.
    Cheers
