    Bugger absolutely madness after see the link on Youtube I find this Disco crossing the river relaying on the cable winch LINK

    I just wonder if these people leave the brain at home before take the journery ?

    Yeah can't say I'd be that keen. They were obviously faced with a tough decision "do we stay another 24hours" or "give it a go". They chose the latter. There wasn't another easy way out. I believe these shots were the 3rd crossing with the other 2 not much nicer. Turning around wouldn't have proved much easier. You can make out the snatch strap on a couple of the shots - ready for instant extraction. Also reckon the Navara looks like he was going a bit too hard - although I reckon the sphincter nerve would have been activated

    Interestingly the Navara had a Snorkel but with the "sleek" new design the water just flowed "up and in".

    Proved how quickly a gentle creek crossing can become a nasty muddy torrent.






    I'd have to agree with Xtreme, I think I would have waited another day! <<Insert chicken smiley here>>




    I suggested if they all had Land Rovers they would have been home on Sunday
