Land Rover rescues AMBULANCE
was reading The Morning Bulletin last night.....monday's copy i think about a miner driving a land rover waded across a flooded road to hook up and recover an ambulance that was stranded with a patient
must have been a defender driver...........could see a disco/range rover driver getting there feet wet

We don't need to get our feet wet. Our doors seal better than yours

Could have been any brand of 4WD I reckon - a lot of these reporters wouldn't know the difference.

true wayne, but up here landrovers have a certain novelty value...... landcruisers are EVERYWHERE
tip: if you ever want a getaway car in central queensland, find a white toyota landcruiser trayback....... they're like yellow cabs on new york!

Great story.
The ambulance was a Holden Commodore? (Is that common in QLD?) If they got towed through the flood which “In places it was at least a metre deep” I hope they had the windows wound up...

yes, they use a stretched VR/VS commodore ute with a fibreglass body, mostly for transport duties rather than emergency work.....

Hi Weeds, you're nothing but a prejudiced bastard.
I get my feet wet every time I step in the shower.
