So does this include acronyms like PITA, WTF etc?
no
FFFS
I have nothing against swearing, it has a place like anything else. What a bloody boring old world it would be without swearing. An oops a daisy, or an ouchy waa waa can not compete with a **** me dead rodney..or **** me that hurt :D. Then of course there is swearing, beyond reason, but even some of those folks are great characters. You'll here more language on an AULRO outing than you would on here.....I think credit where credit is due that even before the filter, people hardly swore and if someone went overboard....it was dealt with.
What I find funny....is that you can say FFS, WTF, ****...........or who can't tell what the swear words are even if replaced with stars....its still telling the same old story. Bit like if the other half was shagging someone on the side...does not seeing it make it any less worse than knowing about it ?? ( P.S. thats not a real life analogy....**** I hope not :D).
I know the main reason behind the not swearing is not due to it being offensive but to maintain a G rated site for sponsors/ advertisers, which is well and good.....but hasnt this thread now just turned into a swearathon...even if the words are "pixilated"...better off leaving it alone as the swearing is low content on here anyway,

This was sometimes used where I used to work, one day a particularly painful customer came in, the service advisor wrote PITA on top of the work order, customer questioned what it was. Some quick thinking and he told the customer it meant "please inform the advisor".:D
