    I received a late Christmas present.
    A bottle of Powers Gold Label Irish Whiskey
    They don't export it, so haven't had a bottle for a few years.

    I remember a few years ago you could get beer up your way called "Powers".

    I heard that it was good for running lawn mowers on - you sure as hell couldn't drink it.

    That was "Bernie Powers", it was alright actually, and naturally brewed. Now owned by CUB, completely different, and virtually extinct.
