Thanks for that. I'm going home to pour it all down the sink. I'll never be ably even look at it again let alone taste it.

All whiskies are rough hooch compared to the better Cognacs. Cognac has justly been called The King of Liquors.

I received a late Christmas present.
A bottle of Powers Gold Label Irish Whiskey
They don't export it, so haven't had a bottle for a few years.

I remember a few years ago you could get beer up your way called "Powers".

I heard that it was good for running lawn mowers on - you sure as hell couldn't drink it.

That was "Bernie Powers", it was alright actually, and naturally brewed. Now owned by CUB, completely different, and virtually extinct.
