allways thought green death was the alternative name for that infamous South Australian brew Southwark......
a while ago i tried some talisker on a hot day........ ugh....
and to think a well known (now deceased) british author who got exiled from the UK used to drink a fair bit of the stuff!
Was given a bottle of bundy the other day as a "thank you", and was fearing the worst.......
Turned out to be 2 bottles of Bundaberg Red Label, filtered and stored in redgum.
Very smooth, very drinkable.
On the other hand. I got to try some yellow label last night and nearly choked on it. YUK!!!
Now I know why they call it cat p1$$.
:toilet:
Back in my youth when I briefly worked in a ship repair gang from Evans Deakin, I worked on a Norwegian owned vessel we repaired and sat with from Brisbane to Rockhampton where they were to load meat for Asia. They had a Taiwanese Third Engineer who drank Glenmorangie and orange juice. We reckoned he was lucky the other officers were Norsk who would drink anything containing alcohol. A Scots engineer would have fed him into the firebox.
proper Scotch includes just one malt !
Yeah, I know. I'm just a mummy's boy.:D
I'll have to work on that.
Oh well, "horses for courses" they say.
As long as you like what you're drinking, enjoy it.;)
