    Fusion,

Did you put any laquer on it ? The reason I ask is because I have done something similar on mine, but I didn't want to put a laquer on it because it would turn it from matt black to glossy black which is what I was trying to avoid.

Problem now is it's starting to fade... so I've either got to find a matt laquer (if there is such a thing) or repaint it.

my'n has a slight gloss too but that was because someone didn't buy matt black and just brought black thinking it was the same thing....hence the well semi gloss

I was really angry when I first realised.....but now it has kind of grown on me and I dont mind it so much! infact it has still cut down some of the glare as it doesn't really reflect it just kind of glistens

any how I didn't paint for my roof lights that was just a bonus I painted because my bonnet was fading at a really fast rate.

(must go out at night and turn roof lights on though haven't actually tried them since the bonnet was done see if it has helped or its just the same) not that it matters though as I have never had any problem using my lights off road at night with the normal paint on the bonnet anyway

Hi Mate , I have only used the flat black with not clear coating as it would gloss it up . The way i have painted my bonnet it will need doing every couple of years as a guess .
