    Now here's my plan.

I took the chance while up in the mountains house hunting and having early Christmas lunch to play with the truck.

I think the condenser should fit here, maybe with just a little bit more protection. Hmm, dunno where the fan will fit.

Just to show what it would look like. All of my faithful assistants had abandoned me.

I had second thoughts about roof mounting after I saw how much roof space the evaporator is going to take up, and how much of my view through the rear window is going to be obscured.

So, maybe mounted under the seats. I think it will just fit with some careful cutting.

Again, permanent installation would be facing forward.

Now all I need is the installer to arrive.

for an evaporator position try sitting someone in the back, hang the ventilator side about a foot behind their heads. Dont put the heat exhchanger under neath it will fill with crud like you wont believe if you can get the fannage to it a slightly better place is in front of the member that mounts the A frame but Id be seriously looking at a 2 wide heat exchanger to mount behind the grill.

I have seen the heat exhanger roof mounted before.

All of original County air con stuff is still there, so I'm guessing we could run the hoses that way.

Of course, I don't have the first idea about the differences between one heat exchange and the next, etc. I was thinking more of freeing up space in the front to make room for a intercooler.

Didn't Pullsy mount his blowers up above the rear door?

See aftermarket air con unit is fitted (w/ pics)

I didn't find the pics in my search. Why not give him a call?

BrendanB has an ex-tour vehicle 110 with a 2nd rear mounted AC. The blower is mounted in a forward facing position above the rear door, maybe you could PM him for some pics.
