Where abouts on Google earth was it?
Or is that where on earth on Google Earth
What's the badge on the front guard? It's not a Tdi one.
Found this photo on google earth aerial photos.
Not sure that a standard 300TDi is a powerful enough engine for it.
Would make for interesting driving and parking in the UK

Interesting - looks suspiciously like 2 roof top tents, but only seats in the cab for 2 people.
I'm afraid I think less is best.
The badge on the wing is a Foley vehicles one.
The site associated with it is This Fab Trek - Photography and Journey. 6x6 Land Rover Defender.
Am not sure if they are roof tents as there is a photo of a bed inside vehicle. Also standard two seats plus jump seat in front.
Whilst I found this photo interesting I would not personally like this vehicle as an overland vehicle.
One of the comments were that the vehicle was top heavy! Personally I would say the roof was overloaded! Result was

Well I guess that shows they weren't roof top tents. I would agree, too much on the roof rack looking at what's being removed. Looks like it wasn't a bad fall at least.

On Youtube, there is some vids of this 6x6.
Most vehicles are easy to roll in sand.
But that one looks heavy on top so particularly easy to roll.
Ah ha... I know that car.
It started off life as a 90 before Foley SV got their hands on it '98/'99 IIRC. They were commissioned by an elderly lady to convert it into what it is today so that she could go traveling.
Unfortunately, she passed away before the vehicle was completed.
The Foleys then used it as a bit of a runaround before selling it on.

When I quickly read the website I could not really fathom out if it had started as a 90 or not. Seems a strange route to get a 130 6 x 6 in my opinion, as the economics of it sounds crazy to me.

In the pic at the top of this thread, I notice something just behind the door handle - is that something for a padlock?
