Fancy having to be pulled out backwards by a couple of coppers in a bitumen 4WD. Hang your head in shame.
G'day Folks
The Bribie boys do regular patrols up the beach to check on campers at the top end and to preform RBTs as it is listed as a road/highway with speed limitsand also checks for behavior of beach goers, and woe betide anybody that is getting an all-over suntan, as NUDITY on Qld Beaches is ILLEGAL
that is on par with shooting up Heroin at the playground
Qld 1hour and 50 years behind the rest of Australia.
cheers

We did the run to the Murray Mouth yesterday - my D2 with worn XPCs, another D2 with 18" Coopers and an X-Trail with whatever they come with. The sand on the run over the final dune was the softest I've seen it. The other D2 and the X-Trail both needed a push to get out of the worst of it. My D2 came close to stopping but managed to get just enough traction to keep moving. The problem was that, as we had had got through easily on past runs, we took it too slowly and the sand won. The tale of the bogged Rodeo should have been a warning.

G'day Brian Hjelm
Not from the experience of being nicked, but used to be a regular with the family at Reef Beach in Sydney for years, and Bribie was nice when there was only 6,000 people on it in the early 80'sI was also much younger and a lot more fit than I am now, used to walk from the top car park up to 2nd lagoon after my leg Op. to get my knee working again, I did it on walking sticks (2) could not do it now though. and ther were a lot of all-over suntanners then.
A Happy New Year to You and Family![]()
