    LR faults

TD5's in general. D2 interior trim quality. Build quality. SLS quirks, oh bugger it just the whole D2 experiance. Bring on the D3 ( touching wood at this time).

    Going back to V8

sorry Id have to disagree. The Td5 and D2 saved land rover in my opinion, heaps more people bought them and it introduced more people to the brand. I still think its an excellent engine and was way ahead of anything else in the time it was released. The 300tdi had to go, it was slow and sluggish. Same with the d2, it was also way ahead of its time than anything else. I'd take a Td5 D2 any day over a 300tdi disco.

I ain't getting into a bag TD5 thing, we already have Damo for that

By the way, you can get 20though oversize pistons and everything for a full rebuild, includeing new assembled head, for 4k, flus frieght and tax, from turner enginering in the UK
