Ditto. lifted mine about 10 years ago and bricked (clay block actually) in underneath. found the best brickie I could to set everything dead level. When the house was lowered back down onto the new blocks, door, windows and even a internal wall were all over the shop. Old wooden houses ( mine is circa 1940's) were never level and straight to start with.
best advise is to do the mandatory homework and look (and talk) to their past customers. I would have never used the crowd I did if I had done a bit more background work on them.
