    Should i?

A mate has offered me his Sierra it has been in a crash so has a massive dent in the left side! a bent axle (but still drives) Brakes need bleeding but that shouldn't be too much trouble. The motor was serviced every 5000K and has 230,000K on the clock it has a new gear box in it (plus he will give me the old box which still works) New starter and alternator.

Has not been started in about a year so would need a little extra effort to get it alive. But shouldn't need any parts

I plan on buying this just to run around the property as a bush basher just for no worry fun off road , he wants $150 for it what do you guys think? is this a good price and with the bent axle it still runs but would it be due for replacing soon? or would it be fine for just running in the bush

    James.

Cheers mate! ill have a look around see how much it would cost to pick up an axle and see what else is damaged, but its got brand new tyres on it so if all else fails i can simply sell the tyres and ill make a profit

Well I'm going to have a look at the zook tomorrow, ill offer him $100 see what he reckons about that but I'm not too worried if he says $150 or leave it as well lets face it i would easy make back the money.

Then i will charge the battery (hope it hasn't dried out), Get it home bleed the brakes. Check all the fluids and then motor away and look for a new axle as i have a feeling the bent one will surely give up sooner then later.

Well all this was sparked by my want of a vehicle i could flog in the bush and not stress about i already have a rut in mind to attack and I'm fairly sure it will end on its side...but thats what its for i promise to learn how to post pics and show you all a failed zook on its side one day!
