Was an absolutely amazing Series to watch! What about Smith coming on with his broken hand? Rivetting stuff!

Siddle's really starting to come into his own, great bowling! (For a change!)

Can't wait for the 20/20 next Sunday, then the Series in South Africa.

I was hoping Bollinger would have a bit more success... Must be a little awkward for him (compared to Siddle), but he had his moments, seems like a nice guy too.

    It's only Bollinger's & McDonald's first Test - give them time.

Yeah enjoyed it a lot - although at work today

On tenter hooks at the end which made it very exciting - thought we'd blown it for a while.

Bollonger and Macca did well - Good to see a Victorian in the side (2 in fact! Geez those NSW - I mean - Australian Selectors must have run out of New South Welshman)

Not sure that catch mid-pitch was out - but we'll take it.

    Good to see a contest.

Kallis caught by macdonald off' his own bowling.. i reckon touch and go. looked to me like the ball hit the pitch first but to whom does the benefit of the doubt got to?

good match in all.. umpire de silva i think had a shocker. some really bad decisions both ways.

also.. hayden dropping a match winning sitter off' ntini with only a few overs to go. luckily saved by mitchell otherwise i reckon the media and public would have ripped into him bigtime.

    awesome series though..

    quoated from cricinfo...
"over 35.3 McDonald to Kallis, OUT, oh well held, McDonald .. or not? Pitches it up down the stumps, Kallis goes back and starts to turn it to the on side, but the ball takes a leading edge and balloons back up in the air towards the bowler, who flings himself to his right in his follow through and looks like he's taken a stunner ... his team-mates converge but Kallis asks for confirmation, and McDonald admits he's not sure. To the naked eye it looked like he took it, Ponting sticks up a finger even before the umpires are consulted, and after numerous analysis Kallis is adjudged out. Thats a very, very tough call. One angle indicates he took it, the straight view says something else. I'm not convinced he took it."

I'm fairly certain McDonald got it - the thing that stuck in my mind though (and made me think he might not of) was that he looked quite uncertain. He just lay there for ages - whether that was him trying to give the umpire time/objectivity or because he didn't know what to do (thinking - or knowing - that he dropped it). Tricky stuff.

Looked f*ing painful for Graeme Smith the last few overs...

    Damn! I missed it!

Yea, Smith looked in pain alright. Quite amazing he got any runs at all ... imagine slogging the bat once one of those balls hits it at a minimum of 80 k's! What I want to know is how did he get his cast back on so quickly???

No worse than Lee bowling with his fractured foot. The pain on his face as he hit the pitch with his left foot pretty much said it all!
