    Tight sump plug

I was going to do a oil change on my 130 TD5 but for some reason the sump plug has gone real tight I can't undo the sump plug and just about stuffed the plug head, had a socket on a long bar and still didn't come loose, any surgestions on how I will get it out without to much damage, I have a new sump plug to replace it...

If I can't get it I have a hand pump that I can pump the oil out of the dip stick hole that I use to use on my boat motor (236 Perkins) as the 130 is over due for a oil change and needs to be done now but will have to get it fixed, just don't know why it did it in the first place as I didn't over tighten it in the last oil change...

    Many thanks Ashley

    Sump plug

Makes a lot of sense that the socket don't fit into the recesse hole, will machine a socket down on a lathe to fit into the recesse hole so it has full grip on the socket, many thanks for the help...
