I've actually only stuck to the Rover section and on occasion, more recently, the Jeep section.
(not that there's a problem with SWMBO's new Cherokee) just looking at times to see if others have any.
I find the tech stuff extremely helpful in most cases.

Me too, I don't venture into any areas that don't interest me and I get plenty ofg tech advice and ideas of Outers so in that way I do enjoy the site.

I have enjoyed it for quite a while because there is some really good innovation and problem solving at times. I don't think it hurts to see what the wider 4wd community think about issues, even if some of them are full tilt rednecks. Some of it is very intelligent and hilarious.

    cheers, DL
Likewise, I really like Pirate. The tech is absolute benchmark and exceptionally diverse. Some of the engineering on there can be a bit dodgy and nobody seems game to question it, but likewise it is largely 1st rate work and just so impressive. What has been interesting is to see the way the members approach dealing with the King of the Hammers event and their vehicle development. They've learnt a lot since last year, but I think the learning curve is super steep for them still. Its a shame there isn't circuit racing and rallying experience in the mix too to share developments on weight biasing and positioning, shock and spring setting and development and the other finer details rather than just chassis, suspension design, axles and driveline. Anyway, I'll babble for hours if I keep going.
    Cheers

Which we've all done on OL a fair bit in the past
I only drop in on Pirate once very couple of months these days, just to see if there's anything new/interesting.

I think ill stick to this forum! Much friendlier and you guys actually help without criticizing. For you guys who also use Outter would you mind remembering the forum is for helping each other not trying to be bigger then each other.
I thought they were quite gentle with you, considering the inflammatory statements you made. I guess some of them may still be on holidays, Outers has been a bit quiet of late. Lucky you didn't try that on Pirate, your private life would have been laid bare for all to see, and some of them may even have come knocking on your door!
