    "The Unit" LR spotted

    Did anyone watch the TV programme "The Unit" last night ?

    The US agents were in Afghanistan and has to buy some horses from the locals. In the end some cash plus their old LandRover swung the deal.

    The Landrover looked like a late Series - I'm not too good on the models.

    Was good to see ( for a Yank show ) it was actually called a "LandRover" rather than a "Jeep".

    Yep - I saw it. The Afghan chief seemed pretty happy with the deal. Would probably have given them the white horse, 8 of its offspring and his own daughter if they tried negotiating a bit harder.

    There was also a brief glimpse of the front of another Landrover earlier in the episode - looked like it had chequer plate panels on the front behind the headlights, but couldn't see much more of it.

    Yep, my favorite show at the moment. Good to see the Landy.......bonus.
    The good shows always seem to be on late, another is 'The Shield' (not on at the moment), but if they were on earlier, all the 'good' stuff that makes them so good to watch would be edited out.

    Yep, i also watch this show religiously, it is pretty good. I liked the grand entrance of the Landy .... it went something along the lines of .... 'we will give you $7,000.00 bucks and .... (pause) a Landrover' ... as the scene cut to the Landy skidding to a halt.

    It made my night, it was in pretty good nick to and yes it is refreshing to see these vehicles as opposed to a jeep or 'truck' .... this is not the first time I have seen a Landy on this show, they regularly drive around in them, especially when the plot has them in the Middle East ......

    YEs me,
    Wife tryed to tell me there was a Landy in the film, I seen it 1st.
    You first see the air vents as they pull away the Cam nets.
