Ive told you before Pedro, a pre-requisit to being on a forum is that you need to be able to read
I think you missed the point to Pedro's post. He was referring to your typo ...

Well actually...... is it a typo???....It could actually being true...but wrong way round. We....as in our ancestors are POHM's....Prisoners Of Her Majesty. In other words...the original Australians....were POM'S or POHM's ....so Damian...are we invading ourselves then ,

I'm a direct descendent of an 1817 guest of His Majesty, all the way from Eire.
I had a great laugh when one of my cousins traced this as we'd always been told our Irish family had arrived as 'free' settlers.

Also a smattering of German (huuge scandal there ) Welsh and English, and supposedly some indigenous blood too, but that's drawn a blank with any formal investigation, although it would explain some of my habits and colouring

Thank you for that! Our family name is most definately on that list! I'll need to confirm it with my Grandma who has done a huge family tree that also includes the renowned Atila the Hun!
    Cheers
