    DUEL BATTERIES

Ok so im in the process of installing a duel bat system for the 300Tdi fender.
I droped in to Batt world today and after measuring the space they said they only has one deep cycle batt that wuld fit the space and that it was $385.00
Am I out of touch or is what they cost these days.
The other question is do I need to have a high end deep cycle to run my 60L fridge freezer or can I get away with a cheaper option. I wont need to run the freezer fridge for say three days without driving some where so I think if I can get one to two days run time i'll be fine.

Who has what batt and do they fit eazy under the passenger seat.

Thanks in advance for your help

There have been many, many posts on this topic, both duelling batteries & dual type..
$385 would be about right for a top of the line gel battery.
The search button is your friend. ( I've been told this is a lazy response b4, but its a good one)..

Thanks Guys and yes I have done a search on the topic, but I suppose the real question is do I need a top of the line gel batt or can I get away with something lesser.
The other qustion is has anyone found fitting a second batt to be difficult due to the space limmitations of the 300Tdi Defender seat compartment.
I am having difficulty finding one to fit next to my existing one.

I am not great with technical chater so I appreciate your patience with me
and the suggestions and advice are appreciated.

When are we going to add duel to the swear filter. I always wonder if the batteries are going to duel with swords or pistols at 12 paces.

    Are you with me Ron?

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Set the swear filter to change "duel" to "dual".

One can set it to almost anything. On Rangerovers.net, I've set the filter to change swear words to Golly Gee Whizz.

Boy, does that p... off a few people on there!
