Aslong as there are no marks on the Ex Bar.

Lifetime guarantee should mean exactly that, unfortunately it is sooo often the fine print makes a claim impossible.

However I find that there is too much flex in 1/2" drive to use them successfully on stubborn wheel nuts. I use 3/4" drive for those issues, even have them in the RRc and my SIII.

You'd have to try. Sidchrome replaced a 30+ year old ratchet of ours.

Yep exchange it , I recently broke a 22mm socket with more than the required leaverage .
I got it exchanged under the lifetime warranty
And my set would be close to 30 years old

were you using it on an LR ?

if so a 1 1/16" or 27mm socket may have been better....

but then again, it wasn't the socket that broke was it? good luck with the exchange....

The Sidchrome factory was just up the road from me when I was a little kid in West Heidelberg. Used to wake up to the sound of (I assume) drop forging from there every day.

They had a showroom out front and all you had to do was bring in the shattered socket or whatever and give the shrugged shoulders look, denying any excessive force had been used and they would just swap for new on the spot.
