I also like how it looks , but I wouldn't buy one. It would have no real purpose.

It doesn't need a purpose, it just needs desirability.

    Think about it this way.

It'll handle really well on road. And I mean really well; even better than the RRS.

It'll be green and economical. You could wear it as a badge of environmental pride.

It'll be small. No "massive 4WD" hate syndrome.

It'll be safe too. Probably even kisses pedestrians.

And it will have badge cachet. It won't be cheap, intentionally so.

So, it's a cool, multi-purpose, enoconical car nobody can hate. It won't carry much, but that's a penalty of a small size. Offroad it will probably surprise. The electric drive will I think mean it won't be disadvantaged by a lack of low range anywhere near as much as the current FL2, and it'll be small.

As TufRR says LR are being wise to innovate the eco area.

    Can't wait to drive it.

    I reckon here in 2012.

I didn't say I found it desirable. I am sure people will though, and it is designed as a premium car. Personally, I don't mind it.

If I had a need for one and could afford it I'd certainly consider it. However, my vehicles have to be multi-role and it's expensive for a dedicated personal transport.

So, if I had plenty of spare cash, probably yes.

From that pic it looks like the front bumper plastic goes all the way back to the doors.

    Pity.

I'm sorry but that wasn't the location of the flux capacitor. That was the location of the drive circuit.

None of you get it,it doesn't matter how it goes offroad, what matters is all the hip hop in the know inner city types will fall all over it and it will be the next fad.How many celebrities, and I use that word sparingly bought Prius vehicles to save money on petrol?,you all wait,LR will sell thousands of them and it will be their biggest seller.
