    Land Crusier Diff Centers?

A Friend of a Friend up the coast has offered me a Diff Center from a Land Cruiser 1979 FJ45. He is sure they fit the Land Rovers, but I have no clue. Any one confirm this please? I don't want to drive all the way up there and find they don't match up.

    Thankyou,
    -Bryan.

Most Tojo are 4.11. If you get a pair drum to to drum they can be made fit with some mods to drive shafts, springs, brakes and steering

What model Rover do you have in mind.

No the diff centre wont fit any of the Rovers. Its too big.

The entire axle though is a different story and you can do entire axle swaps into a Series Landy. The 40 and 60 series axles are great for this, but there is a degree of work in the conversion - its not a bolt in job.

And some LC75.They seem to go bang some times in reverse in the rough country here.

We use the LC80 fronts and V6/turbo Hilux rears alot over here.

The 80 front can explode in reverse sometimes but still loads toughter than a rover diff with 4.7 gears.

The rear diff is a no brainer.

If you've got the skilz it's a pretty cheap upgrade in comparison to building Rover thirds
