Thread: Bad start to the Year

Hi people
First of all my thoughts are with all affected by the terrible fires in Victioria.
Now to my story.
A while ago I read a post on Ron B's bad luck.
Dog turds, things not working when just bought and thought Wow.
Well in the two weeks I have been back from holidays at Haliday point near Forster NSW the following has happened.
On holidays I test rode a motor bike and decided to buy it, it was in Port Macquaire and I thought about it for a long tiome , no quick jump in.
Paid deposit and thought you beauty.
Then
Wifes car's head gasket blow and streering rack is stuffed car not worth fixing have to get another
Then two days before heading up to pick bike up the heater core goes in the Disco and fills car with coolent.
Head up to get bike and when I get home wife tells me the hot water system in the house has carked it.
What the!
Ok thats 3 all over bar the shouting.
Guess what.
The clutch went on the landy today.
This in all of two weeks.
Sory for the rant but it made me feel better.

Yes Ron I thought I would give you a bit of a break in the bad luck dept but I had no idea what was in store
The Bike is a Moto Guzzi 1100 California bought second hand.
Went for a ride with the wife on Sunday and it was great.
I like my machines nice and simple thats why I like Landy's aswell.
