    hi everyone...
    i just want to share some pics of mine and my dad...
    some of it took from an old album of dad (i havent back up all of them, only a half of it)...and some of it is new...

    A lot more mud there than there is mostly round here - but by the look of it, some is as sticky as any I have seen anywhere.

    Great pics mate. Thanks for that.

    Reminds me a bit of when I was growing up in the top end of the NT in what is now Kakadu - living in an old mining and exploration camp. All the company vehicles were Series LR's and I learnt to drive in my dad's Series 2 tray top. We used to have some good fun on the weekends, especially in the wet season - but I can't remember it ever being as sticky as some of the photos you've got in there.

    Has a more beautiful car than a pre-69 SWB ever been made? What perfection in lines and proportion...

    OK, yes there are other cars that could stake a claim; Lamborghini Miura, Bugatti Type 31, E-Type, but desirable as they are, I'm not sure they'd win against the S2 SWB in any objective assessment by anyone visually sophisticated.

    Great photos, the conditions reminds me the rice farms in Uruguay.
