    Buying a L322 Range Rover

The boss is really keen on a 2003 vintage 3.0ltr TD RR,I don't know anything about them so I'm asking any owners if there is any drama's or things to look out for.It is factory serviced and in A1 condition,we were going to a D2 or early D3 but for alittle more we can get the RR so thought why not. Thanks in advance. Pat

Hi Pat, the main issue to look for is that it has had the LR upgraded front diff done.

There were lots of little niggling teething problems but they should all have been resolved under warranty.

When I’ve said that to other people, they think I’m being a smart a” but it is so true.

Once you own one of these, there is just nothing else out there that goes anywhere near what the L322 is like to drive and ride in, around town, on the open road or off road.

They are addictive and you will very quick realise that there is no substitute for them.

I'd also vote for the L322 over a D3. I have an '03 model HSE and it has been brilliant.

The front diff was replaced last year even though there was nothing wrong with the original (no charge even after 5 years!).

Things that have gone wrong with it are the air suspension pump, but again replaced by LR at no cost, and a few niggly things like the 'Remote Battery Low' warning on the dash every time you turn it off (even when the battery is brand new), but overall no complaints whatsoever.

You will love the 3.0L diesel. Quick but economical.

    Go for it!
