It was a typical LROCV event in every way.....![]()
If they want to restrict camping next year to just members of the club then I'm glad I let my membership go years ago.![]()

.How where the DVD,s?
Cheers Dean.
Was good to see the AULROian group camping there again this year. Most will not agree with Club only campers so don't worry about that. At this stage, numbers appear to be about 400 up on last year, just more spread out over the day due to slightly milder weather.
Did anyone go on a Joy Flight? At $40 it was quite reasonable compared to other events I've been to.
Oz Rock was a great disappointment for Clubs, Visitors but most of all Show Committee. A lot of expense and effort was dedicated to this attraction which didn't eventuate.
Did anyone notice the cheaper food from last year? Hopefully we won't see $11 souvlakis at the Show for a long time.

cheaper food than last year??!!!i was still choking at 6bucks for meat on a roll!!!
cheers phil
Sorry to hear it still wasn't cheap enough. Do you recall which food court you bought the roll from, FC1 near the ARB Articulation Trailer, FC2 near the bus stop and closest to the Helicopter or FC3 where all the Clubs were nearest the front gate?
I can assure you the food was definitely cheaper than previous years and now comparable if not cheaper than like events.
Great to see you made the trip down.

I had a brief wander round quite late in the day but didn't stick around all that long.
Seemed a reasonable selection of stalls/info/etc to me but then i'd never been before so had no point of reference to compare it to.
Still, I purchased the d2 arb winch bar i've been looking for for a while at a good price so was well worth the trip and entry fee to my mind.
hey mate,
i only bought coffee from the cafe vans, they were the same price as sydneywe didnt buy any food from the event except for the tea on the saterday night,,i was the FIRST person to be served
the two vendors i looked at were the aus spit and the red cedar...red something in the middle near the coopers stand.
only thing i didnt try was the scouts.
cheers phil
