    Removing middle muffler??

    Will removing the middle muffler off the td5 exhaust system, give any benefit?
    Also am I making my 130 noisier by doing this?

    Mines a Tdi and it did no harm removing it,didn't make it any noisier either. Pat

    I have recently removed the centre muffler on my TD5 D2.
    It was slightly louder,and also a deeper note.Quite a nice burble at idle.
    It certainly feels to be a bit more responsive.
    I have a boost gauge installed and i am certain that the turbo spools up a bit faster.

    you will find the turbo will spool up earlier and you will get a deeper not from the exhaust
