What to buy?

I have a friend who is going to work the season in Punsand Bay. She wants to drive up and back, and is prepared to spend $4-6,000 on a 4X4. Any suggestions for a non-mechanical Italian female on a budget please.

Post '93 disco. 80 series or GQ. Can't go wrong with any of those. Diesel if you can get one.

She would be lucky to get one of those within her financial constraints wouldn't she? I was thinking Suzi or Diahatsu. The purchase would probabley be made in Cairns, possibley Brisbane, but then I would be expected to drive it up there

Disco and GQ would be easy for that money, 80 a little harder but doable.
