    Door trim

    Hi All
I have to pull the rear door trim off a Defender 130 dual cab to replace a smashed 1/4 glass, I'm not sure how to pull the inside plastic door lock button off. have tryed a small screw driver but it looks like it will break if I force it, the drivers side one has been broken from the last owner, anyone can help...

    Many thanks Ashley

PS Got smashed at Westfields at Srathpine last week just for the fun of it as nothing was stolen, about 10 car got the same treatment that day, like to catch them in the act...

You can catch a train from Ipswich to Strathpine, without changing trains

If you're talking about the plastic that surrounds the lock lever -

The surround has two round tabs that just need to be pushed a bit to get them out. Push up from the bottom and it should slide off the lock lever.

Lock lever stays with door frame. If you break the lock lever cover it's about five bucks to replace.

Hi, I hate to say it but they aren't hard to break - the plastic gets a bit hard after a while, but the good news is that they are quite inexpensive to buy from the Land Rover dealer - normally in stock.

    Thanks

    Hi guys

I got it off without breaking it and replaced the 1/4 glass, took about 4hours and a few beers to replace, a lot of trouble for some little **** pleasure, many thanks for your replies...
