I'm only considering it at this stage , I've taken everyone's advice on board and do thank all for your input , may be hi Vis Strips are way to go :p
I do agree with "Devil that you know" , I've spent considrabe amount of time/money getting my disco up to standard , timing belt / water pump / P-gasket / idler pully/ alternator rebuilt etc etc . infact I trust my 300tdi to jump in it and be go on a long outback trip at a moment's notice ,


I'm cerationly not going to jump into a final decision head first with this.

You have proven this well when you had no notice before we took it to Ruthergen with a car trailer in tow and drag ed the rangie back:cool:
It ran cool and didn't miss a beat. Never even had to lift the bonnet.
Just beer in fridge,fuel and go:)

I say she's a keeper. with hi vis strips and a flag:twisted:

Yeah , the Disco is a real beauty , the thought crossed my mind when I was imagining buying the above mentioned disco and thought I was gonna miss the Old girl :( she did Towed well and you're right ,didn't need to lift the Bonnet Once .


I knew all along that I'm not gonna part with the Old Girl , Just needed to hear it from your Lot:D
