can we formulate a list of the major auction houses in each state where Rovers come up for sale. The market is obviously flat these days but that doesnt seem to stop some dealers from charging a premium for their vehicles and auction houses are a good place to hunt down a bargain as they dont want them sitting around for ages.
There seems to be some info on the forum but its all over the place and would be good to have a single reference point
thanks in advance
folwes seems to be the better auction house to deal with.
i bought my disco there havent had a issue with it. touch wood
I buy from both and they both have there advantages......
Hail damaged defender at Milperra next week.
I bought my P38 from Fowles (Mannheim Fowles) in Melbourne. Happy with the car and the service. I've been to Pickles Auctions as well. Both are fine, with Fowles being a bit better organised.
I've noticed that sometimes cars get really high prices and other times not. So its worth watching and waiting until the right car comes up. You will learn what constitutes a bargain by looking at lots of cars before you buy one that you know is a bargain because you have a lot to compare with.
